How Exercise Changes Fat and Muscle Cells -

John Cumming/Getty Images Exercise promotes health, reducing most people's risks of developing diabetes and growing obese. But just how, at a cellular level, exercise performs this beneficial magic - what physiological steps are involved and in what order - remains mysterious to a surprising degree.


This is very interesting. What I found most interesting though was the small plug for intensity in training. The fact that there was more methylation in the individuals who rode harder than in those who rode more gently even though they expended the same amount of energy. 08-13-2013 6:06am
