Sports Psychology Education for Athletes

Good site to send your athletes so they can do a little research (and perhaps drink the sports psychology Kool-Aid). The articles available here help direct turning undesirable characteristic into athlete characteristic that closer resemble elite athletes during peak performance.

I like their analogy of the "light switch" mentality. It is important for our athletes to recognize that if their light is kept on for every practice, it will lead to positive outcomes. 10-23-2014 4:16pm

I really enjoyed reading this article as it really dives into how important it is to focus on both aspects of the athlete, the psychological and the physical.  The resources this provides and additional articles are also helpful... more »I really enjoyed reading this article as it really dives into how important it is to focus on both aspects of the athlete, the psychological and the physical.  The resources this provides and additional articles are also helpful resources to point athletes in the right direction when looking to maximize there psychological aspects when concerned with sports and performance.  I like the article it linked to on taking the "glass half full approach" it really encourages athletes to look at all aspects of sports in a positive light. 10-24-2014 7:07am
