Stress is obviously labeled as a well known bad thing when it comes to its effect on people, but what is often left out is the positive effects I believe it can have. In class we talked about some acute stress as something that can keep us on track, more organized and dedicated towards a task or goal. This article supports that by saying it keeps us "more aware". According to this research, they also found that small amounts of short-lived stress can foster better memory on tasks down the road. Although there are these small, positive potentials that come from stress, there is a certain limit for every person and it depends on how each individual perceives and handles the stress. A little bit of stress might be nothing for some people, but too much for someone else and vice versa. Just like we talked about in class, it comes down to multiple different factors regarding an individual person, or situation.
