For the bioenergetics lesson, we learned that ATP is essentially the "unit of currency" for cellular energy transfer. While the text briefly described the process, I wanted to share a video that discusses in detail the biochemical reactions through which ATP is hydrolyzed. Some people may not be as interested in the chemistry portion of the class as others, but for those that are, this really explains it well. For those that are unfamiliar with Khan Academy videos, they are phenomenal. They carried me and a number of my classmates through Organic Chemistry, which is an infamously hated class.
