Strength training: OK for kids?

This article is very relate-able to what we talked about in class. It says how young kids should not be doing heavy-lifting or any sort of power-lifting, It says how in strength training for young kids, light and controlled movements are best (with some small resistance). It also talks about how strength training can help to strengthen children's bones and prevent injury. The biggest thing was that the article promoted keeping the workouts controlled and appropriately light for the kids.
