Some risk factors of Type I diabetes include family history, geography, environment, and dietary factors.  Type I diabetes can lead to life threatening cardiovascular damage, nerve damage, kidney damage, eye damage, and many other... more »Some risk factors of Type I diabetes include family history, geography, environment, and dietary factors.  Type I diabetes can lead to life threatening cardiovascular damage, nerve damage, kidney damage, eye damage, and many other things.  Since these risks are so deadly, I believe that there needs to be a spread in diabetes awareness around America.  As it is an increasing disease, action needs to be taken by some sort of large organization to try to prevent the wide spread of diabetes.  If we fail to take action against diabetes, it will be another disease that forces my generation to live younger than their parents. 11-03-2016 8:20pm
