Drug Facts - Addictions

I found this article interesting and pertaining to what we learned during the last week of this course. This article discusses what drug addictions, focusing on the variables that lead to the overall decision of an individual to begin taking drugs. The article focuses more specifically on what actually happens to the brain when drugs are taken and abused, and how the use can affect long-term health and cognitive functioning. I found the most interesting part of this article was about the various risk factors involved in a individuals predisposition to becoming addicted to drugs, including biology, development and environment.
