The Social Side of Eating

Who we eat with plays a huge role in what we eat, how much we eat, and how we eat it. The liking and disliking of a food item are influenced by whom we're eating with. Certain cultures' attitudes about food play a big role in gender differences about food.  Other factors such as if one is married or not, one's moods, one's living conditions--all play a role in how we choose what to eat, when to eat, and more.  Where you eat is also a big determining factor--if you're at a restaurant or cooking at home makes a difference in the healthiness of the meal and how much of it we eat. 02-22-2017 11:11am
