Aging Bone

This short clip describes how the skeletal growth process aging. The video describes how the osteoblasts and osteoclasts process is effected by aging. By age 30, bones have reached their ultimate thickness and strength, but at age 50 is when the more osteoclasts effects the body and less osteoblast can help keep the bones from thinning.

This makes me wonder if continuous exercise which strengthens the bones, has any effect on osteoblasts and osteoclasts. 09-15-2017 3:15pm
