Osteoclasts and Osteblasts Explained

This video illustrates how osteoclasts and osteoblasts work together to continually rejuvenate the bone cells and keep the body working properly. It goes in depth on how each of them has their own function and how the body has them activate to perform their given duty. In class we discussed the different stages of life and how changes in hormones affects the productivity of these bone recyclers/creators. The video goes more in depth on the subject and explores how this system manages the body.

This post is very appropriate as a topic for this week because we talked about osteoclasts and osteoblasts and how they break down and build up our bones. A question that could be asked is if people with Osteoporosis can use synthetic osteoblasts to help with their bone growth. 09-15-2017 12:12pm

This is a quick video of how osteoclasts and osteoblasts work. In class we talked about the skeletal system. Osteoclasts break down the bone so osteoblasts can rebuild the bone. Osteoclasts and osteoblasts work together to keep your bones strong. 09-17-2017 8:20pm
