Working with college athletes goes beyond the lines of the court. It is important for the coaching staff to understand that all the players are also current students with other assignments and exams on top of the practices and competitions. Making sure the team is getting enough rest and eating properly are one of the many tips given by the author of the article that can help the college students to be stress free. The main mindset a college athlete should have is to manage the time well so there is no conflict between athletics and academics along the way. In my opinion, being a college student is a learning process and it can teach one a lot about time management and the importance of being committed to the team and the coaching staff. 09-26-2014 12:12pm
