Molecular ties between lack of sleep and weight gain

This week we discussed how sleep can affect our weight gain. I found an article that looks further into why this might be. One reason they discussed is how sleep can affect our bodily chemical such as endocannabinoids ( suppress appetite). They suggest that sleep deprivation can alter the endocannabinoid chemical in our body which can leave us feeling hungrier.
