This article examples how to teach a child to catch a ball. This relates to class beacuse we just taked about ways you would teach a child to catch. For example, you would start out by throwing the ball underhanded so they have a better chance in catching it.

I like that this article breaks down the process into several steps and includes ways to help children achieve each part of the catching motor skill progression, from the basics to more advanced catching. There are helpful examples explaining how to encourage catching in many different ways. A question I have is, how can environmental constraints be overcome, as opposed to only individual constraints? 10-12-2018 3:15pm
